At Jennings-Bramly Furniture Ltd we pride ourselves on designing, making and installing good quality bespoke fitted and free-standing furniture. We have built a reputation over many years, providing clients with the furniture that they need. We have a very professional and creative approach to our work. With training in violin-making followed by making scenery and props for the Royal Opera House as well as for film, we have developed a range of skills which enable us to create the furniture that you would like.
We cover all aspects of the process from beginning to end, no matter how complex the project. With an extremely organised approach and our many years of experience, dedication and commitment to making great furniture, you can be assured that the furniture that we make will live up to your expectations.
Our recent commercial work includes fitted furniture for the Officer’s Mess of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery in Woolwich, and we have had an on-going job fitting out barristers’ chambers in Gray’s Inn Square, including a small oak library, furniture for a board room and conference tables.
Domestic fitted work includes numerous wardrobes often with matching bedside furniture, as well as alcove cabinets in sitting rooms and dining rooms, and made-to measure kitchens. These are made in a style to suit the tastes of our customers, and to fit with the architecture and existing furniture of the room into which the piece is to be installed. As a result, much of our work is made in Victorian, Edwardian, Shaker and Art Deco styles. We also make free-standing pieces, and specialise in the Art Deco style for these.
We design everything in-house, and after meeting you to discuss what you would like and to measure up the space, perspective drawings are made which give you a true feel of how the furniture will look once installed. These can be modified until the furniture looks exactly the way that you would like, with all of the functionality that you need.
Fitted pieces are all pre-made in the workshop and assembled and installed on site, in this way minimising the disruption in your home or workplace.
We use both traditional and modern techniques and materials, including solid hardwoods, veneered boards, and modern manufactured boards which are then painted.
We will be very happy to discuss any furniture requirements that you have, however large or small.
